Umpire Registration Form

The RussMatt Central Florida Invitational is seeking college board certified umpires to work NCAA college games from February 20 - April 23, 2011. If qualified, assignments are available for all or part of the month or specific dates. We pay $80 per umpire for 9 inning games and $70 per umpire for 7 inning games, an increase of $5 and $10 respectively from 2008 (the majority of games are 7 inning double headers)..

If you are an experienced college board certified umpire with good to excellent evaluations please register below.

All umpire assignments are made at the discretion of the tournament umpire assigner. Information submitted on the form below is a guideline only and is not a guarantee of employment or compliance with specific request.

RussMatt Baseball and/or the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational reserve the right to terminate any umpire at any time at the discretion of either the umpire assigner and/or the tournament director.

Please scroll to the bottom of the page for hotel information. All umpires not staying in private homes are required to book through the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational with one of our host hotels.

Umpires hired to work games in the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational are sub contractors and not employees of RussMatt Baseball.

The RussMatt Central Florida Invitational games started but not completed will be reimbursed at $40 per game per umpire. Play must begin for the game to be considered started.

There will be no umpire compensation from RussMatt Baseball for games not started.

Halted games that are completed at a later date will be reimbursed at a rate of $40 per game per umpire.

Hotels

We have contracted with several franchise hotels in the area securing low group rates for umpires. All umpires not staying in private homes are required to book through the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational with one of our host hotels.

Please visit the hotels tab and indicate your first three choices of hotels. Based on this information, we will book your hotel rooms within 48 hours of receiving your registration, notifying you of the reservation code as soon as we have confirmation from the hotel.

Let me encourage you to register early as our rates are only good upon availability.
